In addition to classes, we explore Portugal's picturesque countryside on horseback. One of the highlights is a outdoor ride to the river Zêzere, where we enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on the waterfront. Visit to Portugal's top farms
During this week, we will visit the famous Veiga Stud Farm and the Alter Stud Farm, where some of the best Lusitanos in the world are bred. You will get an exclusive tour and an insight into the rich history and bloodlines of this impressive breed. In addition, you will get the chance to seeing wild Veiga bulls up close - a unique experience!

A dip into the history of the Lusitano
We won't just be driving, but also learning about the Lusitano. During a special presentation on the history of this noble breed you will discover how the Lusitano developed into the versatile horse it is today. In addition, you will get a Working Equitation demonstration by Pedro Teixeira Farto, in which the Lusitano's strength and agility are beautifully shown.

Cultural highlights & Portuguese traditions
Besides equestrian sports, we immerse ourselves in the Portuguese culture. We visit a traditional equestrian shop, have lunch at a typical restaurant in Golegã and enjoy a evening with live Fado music - THE melancholic sounds of Portugal.
